and it’s been eating away at me since the beginning of this year

I know how you feel to an extent. Gender dysphoria is the worst feeling in the world, just know that you aren't alone. Things do get better I swear, no matter how long it might take. One day you'll look in a mirror and be so proud of yourself. You already should be <3
