Mine are that the oldest Greenland shark ever found was between 272 and 512 years old and that greenland sharks reachs sexual maturity at around 150 years old!!

i have a lot of shark facts i like, but my favorite one is how cookie cutters wreaked havoc during the cold war because of how it mixes my two favorite things(sharks and history). although the us navy submarines were rlly advanced, they were taken down by cookie cutters!
i also enjoy sharing the fact that whale sharks have teeth on their eyes! they are called denticles :)

A fun fact is that a lot of sharks (mainly deep sea but also shallower ones like swell sharks) use bioluminescence for different purposes. Some use it to ward off predators, others use it to attract prey, ones even use it for both. Though some use it to communicate with each other. Another one is that Bonnethead sharks are the only known omnivores in the shark world because they eat seagrass.
