Good day, friends!
Even though there's not a lot of us at the moment, let's all still be eager and willing to freely chatter about our most favorite girls!!!
This is a post for you to share some of your utmost favorites! Babble on!

I have shared this in the introduction post, one of my absolute favorite GL works ever has to be "Otome no Teikoku". I discovered it not long ago, just during the summer of this year. It's a sweet & simple manga by Kishi Torajiro. It also has a certain ecchi-ness to it, so be wary if you want to read it. There's definitely talk of BOOBS !!!(⊙ˍ⊙) and also many moments of gentle intimacy...
"Otome no Teikoku" is one of those feel-good/slice of life mangas. In some capacity, it's devoid of any real life problems that girls who like girls may face. And that's one of the things that I appreciate about it! It allows you to just relax, it doesn't play with your feelings by potraying girls struggling... The only present drama in the manga is some of the romantic drama between certain characters.
(That being said, the author has more realistic works too! Like "Mars no Kiss". When I first read it, I cried for like 30 minutes... It hurt me deeply... As a girl who would like to marry a girl in the future, it broke my heart... I am not going to say much about it, but you should read it if you want a sad short story about unrequited love.)
One of "Otome no Teikoku"'s pros is an abundance of GL tropes! Because the setting is an all-girls high school, there's a lot of characters and posssible relationships! Some of them are official, some of them border on platonic and romantic, some of them could be described as "an artist and her muse"!! The artstyle is absolutely gorgeous, all of the characters are drawn with so much love and attention... Even though it is an ecchi manga, all the girls are drawn semi-realistically with believable proportions, so their characters feel even more real! There are athletic girls, average girls, chubby girls... And in every single close up shot there's just so much... Care & love & affection towards these characters. Because the manga was started more than 10 years ago (and is still being updated) you can see all of the artist's progress in drawing!! I got very attached to pretty much all of the girls... Some of the pairings there are exactly what I would like to have in a relationship, so I do sometimes get lost in projecting & daydreaming while reading, he-he-he...^^
Overall, "Otome no Teikoku" is a great read! It's gentle & soft & also a bit pervy at times, but it's full of love towards women and relationships between them! Check it out when you have the time!
