i personnally really dont like s1 n i think i like s2 bc the dark, black and red stressful vibe is super cool and new in the series, then it's great that lloyd is "weak" unlike all other seasons, jay is on the darkside and they dont stop the forbidden five at the end if i remember well. BUT i hate that there's a tornament bc it's obvious they chose that just bc chen's tornemant is most people's favorite arc (my opinion) and i think it isnt well introduced at all (still my opinion no hate)  

As much as I absolutely adore ninjago, NDR hasn’t been my favorite I’m not gonna go ranting about “Old Ninjago” or anything, I just wish they’d stop pushing new characters to the forefront like they’re the main characters… I’m here for the NINJA, not new ninja who eat up Jay’s screentime grah (Ik he’s, yk, memoryless, but I just want him to stop being a brat to everyone and get his memories back bc he’s my favorite character) I don’t HATE Arin, Sora, Frak, or Wyldfyre but like… cmon. I’m still upset that Wyldfyre, the one with barely any training with a huge ego, defeated the big bad (even if he’s not GONE gone, SHE still landed the final punch? Come on, these guys have been doing this for YEARS what?) I just don’t want the new characters to become the forefront of everything, yk? I doubt they’ll discontinue any of the og ninja, but I still don’t want them to be side characters! I mean, hell, Cole has had barely and screentime, Jay’s just been turned into a douche, Wyldfyre thinks she's better than everyone else, Nya hasn’t had a WELL DESERVED crash out over loosing her boyfriend for YEARS and now that he’s memory-less she just seems kinda sad, not like she’s FIGHTING for it, and I just want them to bring him back. It just feels like the writers want the new kids to be the new main characters and I don’t want that. Maybe I’m being a dick or being harsh… I dunno. I’m still gonna watch it but… yeah.
