Homestuck is good, but the fandom sucks, and I say that as someone whose been in it myself since 2010, when it was still shiny and new. It's really really stupid, really really funny, and simultaneously the crappiest and most well-written thing you'll probably ever read. If you do choose to read it, do it by downloading the Unofficial Homestuck Collection modified browser. It allows for the flash and games that are embedded into the comic, and it just can't be experienced the same way otherwise.

Homestuck is actually pretty good! The plot can get a little bit convoluted, and a few parts haven't aged all that well, but overall it's a really fun read!
(On a side note: even though the fandom is notoriously awful, it's gotten a lot calmer in the past few years.)
