My favorite wrestlers always kind of changed with the eras.

Golden Era

Hulk Hogan was one of the first wrestlers I really knew. I was bought toys of him when I was pretty little. Watched movies he was in and even ended up seeing Thunder in Paradise. By all means I didn't hate Hogan during this time but he was mainly just the main wrestler I associated with wrestling at this point.

New Generation Era

Once I started watching Raw on a somewhat regular basis I instantly gravitated towards liking and rooting for Bret Hart. The look, the intro music, and his place on the card made him my favorite during this time. Ironically I also liked Shawn Michaels as well. The Undertaker was another favorite and eventually as Stone Cold Steve Austin started really getting bigger I was a big fan of his. This was my starting point of watching wrestling and I also was watching WCW during this time. Sting instantly became my favorite from WCW after changing his appearance to his "crow" Sting look.

Attitude Era

I enjoyed the Attitude Era so much and was watching almost religiously during this time. We'd have two TVs set up having Nitro and Raw on at the same time. Mostly watching WWF over WCW as I was just a HUGE fan of Stone Cold and many others in the WWF. Meanwhile Sting remained my favorite on WCW. I could go on and on about all the wrestlers I enjoyed watching during this time. DX, Chris Jericho, Undertaker, Mankind, The Rock, Kane, Jeff Hardy, The Brood, even Al Snow with Head, and so many more.

Ruthless Aggression Era

I was still watching Raw and Smackdown every week during this time up until right before WWE's version of ECW started. I was only watching once and a while after that. My favorites during this period was Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, RVD, John Cena during hisΒ "Doctor of Thuganomics" run, and Chris Beniot. Also during this time I started to take more notice to women's wrestling. I really liked Trish Stratus, Stacy Kiebler, Lita, and Victoria. I also really wish I would have got into TNA during this period but just wasn't really too aware of it and just kind of brushed it off. Wasn't really discussing wrestling with anyone anymore online or IRL. Which is kind of what made me feel apathetic towards watching it as much.

PG Era

I didn't really watch too much during this time at all. But from what I did. Those among this time that would be considered favorites for me was Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Jeff Hardy.

Wrestling Afterwards to Today

After going years without really watching I found my way coming back to watching wrestling throughout the 2010s thanks to the WWE Network and having nostalgia for the old days more and more. Then eventually was watching WWE again by 2017. At first I struggled to get behind any of the new wrestlers I wasn't familiar with but eventually they started to grow on me. I also was hyped up when the news about AEW broke and I thought at first it would be like reliving the "Monday Night Wars" all over again. Or at least bring in some interesting dynamics. Which in it's own way did and has happened. Nowhere to the extent from the 90s and AEW has it's own fair share of problems and really has been on a downward slope since all of the stuff happened involving CM Punk. Keep going from hating CM Punk to liking CM Punk back to hating him all the time. Which was the case for me during the PG Era stuff that I watched involving him. Also during this time I really took off enjoying the women's wrestling and how much more that really expanded. Being leagues more interesting and better a lot of the time over anything that the men can put out. I didn't take off right away with things in 2017 and then struggled a bit during covid with the empty arenas and dealing with the Thunderdome. However, there was still enough going on for me to be interested to a degree. I also really loved what was going on with The Fiend and Alexa Bliss. I was obsessed! Also afterwards I really enjoyed Sami Zayn in the Bloodline. There was plenty of good things going on in AEW as well such as Sting making his return and me losing my shit over any involvement with him. Another thing is that I really enjoyed Cody Rhodes when he first came over to WWE from AEW. I also NEVER thought in a million years I'd ever see Stone Cold have a match again. So there was a lot of hype and interest going on. Sadly some of that did burn out and couldn't keep to that level. Especially regarding AEW. As things started to slow down and get bad fast. I wanted to really like and get behind "Hangman" Adam Page. As I thought the feud between him and Swerve Strickland was solid and even had some elements from the 90s within their chemistry together. The closest thing IMO that AEW has and probably ever will have to a Stone Cold/The Rock type of dynamic.

I still enjoy seeing The Hardy Boyz and recently watched their match with The Dudleys. Crazy to me that they're still going even though their bodies are absolutely wrecked. Although I don't really watch TNA. I just
simply don't have the time to keep up with that many different promotions. I barely keep up with wrestling as it is. I don't get to watch it as much as I'd like to. And still have to catch up on quite a bit of things.

Wrestlers I like today and would consider among my favorites in WWE and AEW though would be.

AJ Styles, I'd like to really see him get one good run in before he retires.

Dominik Mysterio, he's really developed a lot over the years and is always interesting to watch. I've also really enjoyed The Judgment Day on and off over the years. The run with Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and now Roxanne Perez. Not sure as of this post what's going on there. I did see that John Cena has the IC title now. As I mentioned I need to catch up on things.

Sami Zayn, I'd like to see him finally win a world title.

Asuka and Kairi as the Kabuki Warriors as always been among my top favorites. I absolutely love them. Same with Iyo Sky when she was moved up from NXT and returned with Bayley to form Damage CTRL. I can always enjoy watching Iyo's matches and just seeing what's she's up to.

Rhea Ripley, once she joined the Judgment Day I was definitely behind Mami.

Liv Morgan, again her dynamics witht he Judgment Day was great as well.

I've really been liking things with Stephanie Vaquer and Roxanne Perez as of when I last was watching.

I still love Alexa Bliss and despite not ever being a fan of Charlotte, they made their tag team make Charlotte likable in ways that I've never seen before.

One thing I'm extremely disappointed over was Naomi's run being cut short. I loved her going in a new direction being heel and having that be a very nice change of pace. I was 100% getting behind it.

As far as AEW goes. I'll keep it short. There's a lot I like and don't like about AEW. But it's definitely still interesting at times. Darby Allin is fucking CRAZY and I absolutely am glued to any match that he's in. The fact that even Sting did some wild shit while they were a tag team was crazy to me to watch. Then on the women's side. I loved Julia Hart in House of Black even though I know that's long over now. I've also been a fan of Anna Jay ever since she first showed up and then was a part of Dark Order while even still being a fan of her today.

There's so much more I could really go on about that I just simply couldn't come close to covering it all in one single post. So, anyone who may discover this now or in the future that wants to "shoot the shit" and talk wrestling with me. You're more than welcome to do so.
