I have some others to recommend/add to the list!

Podcasts:

Pinecones & Moonstones (practical witchcraft, science, history) https://anchor.fm/pineconesandmoonstones

Betwixt and Between (more theistic, great for Wiccans, Pagans, or more spiritual paths) https://www.betwixtandbetweenpod.com

New World Witchery (history, esoteric practices, exposure to a wide variety of practices) https://newworldwitchery.com

Tarot for the Wild Soul (Lindsay Mack, also recommend her tarot workshops and courses) https://lindsaymack.com/podcast

Tarot Books:
WTF is Tarot? And How do I do it? by Bakara Wintner

Kitchen Table Tarot by Melissa Cynova

78 Degrees of Tarot Wisdom by Rachel Pollack

Modern Tarot by Michelle Tea

Appalachian Folk Magic:
Staubs and Ditchwater by Byron Ballard (I would read anything by Byron before Jake Richards)

Beginner Practice (open to all paths, some are more Wicca or more atheistic than others):
Inner Witch by Gabriela Herstik

The Door to Witchcraft by Tonya A. Brown

Everyday Magic by Semra Haksever

Waking the Witch by Pam Grossman (her podcast is also excellent)

The Women who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés

Political History of Witchcraft (witchcraft is political, it's a form of violence to forget that):
Caliban and the Witch by Silvia Federici (or her other book)

Witches, Midwives, and Nurses by Barbara Ehrenreich and Diedre English

Witches, Sluts, and Feminists by Kristen J. Sollee

Occult Features of Anarchism by Erica Lagalisse

Moon work (worshipping/working with moon phases):
Lunar Abundance by Ezzie Spencer

The Moon Book by Sarah Faith Gottesdiener

Ancestral Veneration:
Honoring Your Ancestors by Mallorie Vaudoise

Badass Ancestors by Patti Wigington

Facebook Groups (open to all paths; answer all the entrance questions):
Foolish Witches  - great source for education on cultural appropriation, connecting to thousands of witches from different paths, open space to ask questions about spells, being a new practitioner, etc.

The Moonlight Witch Bitch Society and Candle Club - smaller group, good lists of resources, multiple paths welcome, education on science and witchcraft, cultural appropriation, and historic practices

Hellenist Witches - great resource for Hellenistic pagans/those interested in Hellenism in general. Modmin team made up of archaeologists and historians, share actual history plus spiritual practices.

My best advice for beginner witches is that all paths are valid, you do not have to follow Wicca or the Rule of Three, cultural appropriation is always wrong and you need to learn the history/culture of what you're doing and be respectful of closed practices, and you don't have to believe in deities/or anything and can still be a witch.
