Forum: Half-Life Lambdaposting Group

Rules are basic:

Keep to topic, try to be somewhat respectful to everyone else, and spacehey rules apply, of course.
Just trying to promote cohesion, and ease of use.~Vault

As for the resto of notable stuff:

So first a couple 'o dates o keep in mind:

We are affiliated with CourtYard Republic - a group of Opposing forca fficionados with their own servers in the game. You can find out more here, on their site online terminal.

We were always pretty close and chill with TF2 Shitposting on Facebook. Too bad they got overshadowed by other, open groups. can relate

We have a youtube channel that is totally active and we definitely have stuf to post there.

You can find our 88x31 button here.
You can use it to link people here from anywhere that lets you embed images with HTML. A lot of services will embed it nicely from link, and there is a link to our Steam group bundled with it, but do try linking through the image itself, doing it through imgur's embed system is just messier than it needs to be where you can turn it into a link yourself.

You can download the Unarmored Barney Sticker Pack for Telegram, made by our long time active member member - Da_Real_IvanPan here.

Edit: Black mesa sucks.

Namely because of the many diviations. Less impactful gunplay, worse Enemy handling, a particular gripe of mine is the intro, where you're forced to use a light source mechanic from episode one that doubles as a fun weapon sometimes when you have a gravity gun, like in episode one. Except they do that when you don't have it, in much less open areas like vents that tend to lend themselves much worse to carrying items in general and you don't get any other means of defense. And they run out all together. This singlehandedly makes it a worse experience for new players who might damn well quit right there, at the begining due to the change and who knows if they'd come back.
Really my main problem with it personally is people saying new players should start with it for all those reasons, but I also know for a fact Evan has more to say on the matter.
