Mine was Korn, I had a friend that was trying to introduce me to other sub-genres of metal nd he told me to listen to Blind by Korn... changed my life.

Korn - Here To Stay, heard it back in 2006. It was included in the soundtrack of ATV Offroad Fury 2. I fell in love with them ever since <3

I started my jorney in this genre from Slipknot, but first nu metal band I heard were Linkin Park, still a huge fan of them

i know these are basic answers but Linkin Park and Evanescence. I heard their most popular songs in amvs when i was little and when i got older i officially started to listen to them.
