So I wuz wondering why my makeup gets all cakey and splotchy looking around my nose and inner cheeks, i put on moisturizer and primer, but my foundation (liquid) always looks so weird! do i need heavier foundation? I use JOAH crystal glow in the shade FC010. Any advice is appreciated!! Thnx!!!

If u dont know ur skin type thats probs the first step, knowing what type of product to use. Tapping a damp sponge on top of ur powder to soak it in might help, or trying to go with a lighter foundation, more makeup usually makes it more cakey for me!

hi!! make sure the products you're using are all silicone based :) this prevents splotchiness(?) and peeling areas over time!!

my top reasons for cakey makeup include dry skin or too many dead skin cells (fix with peeling max 1x week), too much product or old product (bought over 6 months ago). I never used that specific foundation but I still recommend you to try out others and see which ones sit better on the skin
