AI Art and AI Voice Acting is proof that so many jobs will be replaced by AI

This is something at kind of pissed me off because I am a very good artist and I'm currently hoping to be a voice actor, but with progress like THIS, my lifelong dreams might be crushed.

idk somewhere i still have hope that people will like art made by human fellas (maybe even better cuz ai art feels really lifeless)

but yeah it sucks like 'wow new reality check just dropped /sarc

and idk how long will it take to teach ai understand all those metaphoric-ish way of people explaining on how should you change you way of talking to sound more like certain character or certain vibe

AI art at the moment seems to be mostly for consumers of pornographic anime LMAO than taking jobs of designers and comic artists and such at least

As a fellow artist, agreed. Fuck artificial "intelligence" for taking our jobs. The human race shall always reign superior over these stupid robots and we shall rise against AI!!!!!

Pretty much the only jobs that won't be done by AI are things like plumbers and carpenters and stuff where you need to use your hands and it can't be digitized.

AI is only going to get better and fast. Look how much better AI art has gotten over the last year.

Who would have thought that AI would be writing stuff and drawing and doing physically easy work and humans would be out there laying bricks? Like what's the point of technology sometimes?

to be honest im not sure ai will ever get that good to actually replace artists. i think no matter what there will always be some weird detail that make people instantly notice "yea this is ai.." . i think if its used correctly it can be quite good for artists tho. the animator joe recently made an animation assisted by ai, using it only to do some extra frames in stuff. i think this is the right way to use ai. no training data stolen from other artists or any of that. just interpolating a few frames to make it easier for the actual real people to animate with later. the video in question is here. im sure people will disagree but this way i feel its not causing any harm.
