Hiiii again today I have a long story but I think many people many like it , it’s the story off the Asalwah ! The most famous story of cannibals in Saudi Arabia :)
Ok so First thing let’s talk about the name meaning , and since this name have many meaning in Arabic I will just say some that I think are related:
1- the woman version of the devil .
2-the woman that seduce man by her beautiful body , then kill them . ( by sucking there blood )
3- the woman with beautiful look but ugly mind
( look idk we had such a word in Arabic but I just can’t believe that this name wasn’t made just for this story but also have been made before and is contacted to many horror stories and also it’s literally CONNECTED TO [ CUCCUBUS] WTF how is this even possible! , so I found more than 6 different story with the same name and all are related to scary culture and floklore stories! For that reason I will have more research on all the stories , so if anyone is interested I will share my research with you guys ! But let’s just say that that all what we need from the name for now )

So before long long time in Saudi Arabia before the oil ( petrol ) was discovered and we become a rich country (more than 300 ago) we were just mostly desert and villages ( yes kind off like how Hollywood describe us ) , there was a woman and her daughter the woman name was (dulmah) which stand for ( darkness, unfairness) ( btw people used to call her ( darkness in the middle of hunger) she lived an a cave in mountain that how poor she was she couldn’t even feed her child also she worked in taking care of people sheep’s , one day her and her daughter couldn’t find any food and suddenly they heard a baby voice crying in that moment (dulmah)asked her daughter to go grab some wood , she didn’t have the slightest idea what was gonna happen , but she did when her mom toke that poor baby and throw him in the fire while he was alive , and started eating him and her daughter started eating with her too …
After that they have started calling them the cannibals , and with days passing (dulmah) started asking her daughter to go seduce man’s ( it was known that she had a beautiful body and face ) so when they come with her to the cave the mom would stab them from the back and kill them after that they start eating them just like nothing just happened…. ( dulma ) also used to pretend to be a wizard so she can seduce the woman’s that have a little faith , then kill them and eat them , one day (dulma ) daughter saw a man with a weapon and she was scared but her mom told her don’t be afraid you will be able to do it , and so she did ! She took the man weapon and killed him after that there story started spreading in the village , and they didn’t know about that ,but the village was sick from what they did and wanted revenge for the all the people that where lost because off them …
So they trap them and put a man for (dulmah ) daughter for her to seduce him but when she did go to him he killed her , and while ( dulmah ) was waiting for her daughter she was surprised to see her daughter dead in the hand of the village man’s ! After that village man’s made sure that she die with most painful way ever … and so they did .
That was the story ( dulmah ) / (The Asalwah)! To this day you can still see her cave and go to it .

One last note : there where believers and nonbelievers to this story but not about all of it but only the cannibalism part sense some people believed that they killed people to steal them , and also they said that ( dulmah ) died because she fall from a mountain while she was running away for the prince man’s because they where gonna probably kill her , chose what you want to believe :)
