The fashion world is dying right before our eyes… Big name brands steal from smaller brands. People try to stamp simple designs instead of going outside the box. Trends are supposed to repeat, yes, but all we see is different versions of the same shit! Anyone else see this as an issue? I know we need cheap bs to get us through our day to day, but why tf does everything have to be so shitty? I know this isn’t super constructive criticism (which is why I’m open to comments) but basically what I’m saying is fashion lacks real ART these days!

definitely agree, the copying is becoming more and more apparent. the constant reuse of past concepts could ALMOST be excused if it was actually properly executed, but it rarely ever is. they'll use the exact same concepts, but take away everything that made the original charming / appealing in the first place, not add anything to make the new designs special or appealing in any way, downgrade the quality, and offer it in cuts and colors that make no sense to the concepts original vision / branding. i felt this way with the whole juicy couture x F21 collab, the tracksuits were so simple and boring. i'd rather brands just sold old inventory than try to convince us that they elevated their concept / branding in any capacity.
