what's your experience with qpr's?

for context, a qpr is a platonic relationship but with some things often considered to be only things that couples do (to my knowledge). like for example being physically affectionate with a friend or deciding to live with them and treat them more closely then you would with a normal friend

i'm really curious about this to start considering if i could use a QPR :_)

aghhhhfhrnfjdjjsjdhxusjsj im so late to this D:

personally, getting into a qpr has to have been one of the best decisions of my life. as an aroace, i always felt I would be alone for the rest of my life. but being in a relationship with the bestest friend ive ever had really makes me happy. i used to have a big issue with taking care of myself, sh, eating, bullies, etc. but ever since i found my partner, i found more motivation to get out of bed. my qpp really helped me with a lot of my problems, including defending me from my bullies and finding time for self-care. i would really recommend getting a queer platonic partner because she’s someone ive found really helpful in terms of my mental health. i really care about her and i hope everyone has someone just as kind and amazing as her in their lives <33
