Policy on audio layouts

I was wondering what is the policy of copying layout code here. I would like to make and post some, but my chosen method is copying the already existing code of others.

Example: somebody posts a layout that plays a song. The code of that layout uses a YouTube link to play the song.

Would it be considered plagiarism, or even a ban worthy offence if I posted my own music layout, that used that person’s code, with the only difference being a different song link?

NOTE: I would give credit to the person’s code.

Using just the bit of code to play sound in your own custom layout doesn't sound like a problem to me, especially with credit. There are only so many ways to make something work in HTML/CSS, so a lot of coding is just seeing if someone else has solved the problem you have. 

Although just copying someone else's entire layout code, changing the song, and reposting it as your own layout would be plagiarism. Not only that, but the layouts section is already full of different songs when the song code is pretty easy to change.
