gender identity: nonbinary, my presentation is somewhere between butch and dude

how did you discover your identity: catholic high school made being a self hating trad girl seem like the only option. i felt like an imposter in women's spaces, esp locker rooms. an odd sensation since i never would describe myself as feeling like a guy inside... more that people had just mistaken me as a girl and i simply wasnt. i identify with the nonbinary label because ive always felt like i was distinctly neither gender binary. tho that may have been partly due to me being autistic, idk. now i look like a guy and im chillin 🦗🦟🦗

fav species: isopods are my babies bc i have .. a lot in my possession. but i utterly love an excuse to hold a frog

tattoos/piercings: 14g septum ring that ive turned into half my personality

fave trans coded franchise/movie: THE MATRIX !!!!!

gender identity: agender

how did you discover your identity? feel free to leave a long story 🤝: one day my mom told me i was acting not like a girl and was so confused because i never thought i was a girl nor a boy nor like. any gender at all. i forgot about it all bc i was too busy reading but when i discovered the internet and made friends i found out a lot about other genders and went "huh, ok". during the pandemic i had the ability to explore more about my gender and how i presented myself to other people. there was an instance where someone gendered me as a boy over the internet and that made me really happy because at the time my brain was operating on androgyny = masculine (which. I Now Know Is Not True At All). it's not a terribly unique or interesting one but it's all i have.

fav species, make it funky: srry i'm basic i have four cats well technically only one bc the other three are my family's and one is mine truly but i have four cats and often dream of becoming a cat one day

any cool tattoos/piercings you want to share with the class: i only have two ear piercings t__t

fave trans coded franchise/movie?: i love the reanimator movies and i think about it a Lot.

how did you discover your identity? feel free to leave a long story 🤝: i was 10-11 and my friend came out as a trans guy and i researched it and said "that sounds an awful lot like me.." and then went into denial for 3 years until i came out by writing "im a man" or smth on my stomach bc i was "weird" like that lmao

fav species, make it funky: i love a good sun bear or any bear but also most sea animals and dogs :D

any cool tattoos/piercings you want to share with the class: i am about to get my first tattoo and i have a septum but my eyebrow got irritated so i had to take it out. im gauging my ears tho

fave trans coded franchise/movie?: i don't watch enough stuff to say anything other than she-ra

gender identity - agender, femme presenting (they/them, but ok with she/her)

how did you discover your identity?

I'm AFAB and for a long time it wasn't something I thought about really. However over the past four years or so I have felt more comfortable with the idea of identifying as gender neutral. It's honestly something I haven't really "come out" as, and I don't know if I will anytime soon.

fav species, make it funky-

watermelon space pandas!

any cool tattoos/piercings you want to share with the class-

Tattoo that says, "life is short; you're capable".

These are Gwen Stefani lyrics. I am sooo obsessed with her, and I really resonate with these lyrics. We never know how much time we have on Earth, and I like the reminder that I should do all I can with what I have here.

fave trans coded franchise/movie?

This is going to sound cliche, but the Matrix. I recently watched a Youtube video analysis essay on the music in the film, and I have a renouned appreciation for it.

gender identity non-binary (feeling agender, specifically)

how did you discover your identity? I was slow on the take-- I had the vocab thanks to The Internet, but it wasn't years later until I felt I was "trans enough" to apply additional labels to myself.

fav species, make it funky: hedgehogs with really long tails

any cool tattoos/piercings you want to share with the class: No, but I have so many ideas...

fave trans coded franchise/movie? Jessie Gender's IDENTITEAZE, which is just fantastic.
