is vanilla sims 4 have enough content without buying any of the expansion packs? im not against buying expansions in the future but im not in the mood right now to buy any.
if the expierience is better with expansionsm, which would you reccomened getting first?

I would recommend getting some expansion packs or even mods (there are a ton that can enhance gameplay, along with better character customization!!). With the base game, it can be pretty bare compared to the earlier games.

My man ISP tried to play without any packs... It didnt ended well and i really do not recommend.
I dont know about your playing style and what you like but essentials are probably Seasons, Get Together, Get Famous, City Living... Maybe Growing Together too, because it adds pretty bit of cool decor stuff and compitability mechanics.
Honestly, i would also suggest pirating all packs trying mods. It takes some time to find what you want but trust me: its gamechanger. From cool clothes to new mechanics.

expansion packs are expensive and ea is super money hungry so piracy is always okay >:)!! but if you want something more legal, the sims modding community is hugee. whicked whims is a super good mod to check out. i think for your first time playing, vanilla should be fine.
