Conrtraversial Emo/Scene Opinions?

I honestly don’t get the hype with waterparks They’re not an emo band but I’ve seen a lot of emos like them and tbh they’re not that good

1) i think bvb are really overrated.. they are like the dad-rock of emo music lmao

2) people who are adamant to listen only to OG emo music tend to be elitists/gatekeepers and kind of assholes sorry

3) scenecore can actually be more interesting to look at than original scene aesthetics
