getting diagnosed

hey, so im 15m and just talked to my doctor about getting screened for autism. for those in the forum who have been/are in the process of being diagnosed, what was it like for you? my social anxiety can get really overwhelming, especially about something like this. there are only a couple people in my life i have confided in about possibly having autism. im afraid ill shut down or even cry during the appointment. i would like some words of support/advice too, if possible T_T
