I finished City and the City by China Mieville(sp?) about a week ago, now and it was really good! I think it’s a really interesting concept that he successfully pulls off and makes for a really engaging and fun read that skillfully handles such a complicated and confusing setting. Has anyone else read this book? Any recommendations for new ones?

i've had a different book of mieville's - perdido street station - on my shelf for the longest time! have not read it yet - i've just been waiting around for a time when i feel up to it.

that's actually so funny, i have owned perdido street station for years and haven't gotten past the third chapter every time i've picked it up.
i started reading the city and the city to inspire me to perhaps actually finish perdido, and it was good! i don't know if it worked though...i haven't thought abt reading it since i finished the city and the city
