Personally this is my favorite genre of entertainment, psychological horrors and thrillers just have a way of tapping into the part of your brain that disturbs and scares you the most. What are some of your favorites? What are some need to know classics most people wouldn't know?

I love "Martirs", it's genuinely so distressing and gruesome. There is a fair amount of gore, but the psychological violence absolutely tops it. Another one is "the lighthouse", i don't know if it's even considered a horror, but the way the protagonists just go crazy while essentially trapped in that lighthouse is very creepy

its not a movie or show, but SCP 3001 is pretty good :) idk if it counts as psychological horror though. theres a voiceover by forlornfoundry on youtube that read the scp wikidot article if people prefer something to listen to.
