stickman followed me

 basically i was on my way home from a place i had been out in (wow i know) but it was quite dark only lit up by streetlights. it was quite late too, maybe 2 am so i doubt it could've been a really weirdly built guy. but anyway i turn around and there's this black 2D stockman a good few feet behind me. its arms were too long for its body to where they touched the ground and its legs too short; freaky i know. it had no face at all but i could tell it was looking at me like it KNEW i had seen it?? i started walking faster and i turned a corner and i see it again behind me like it was following me (the corner was close to me so it would've been easy to catch me up) but what was even weirder was i didnt look behind me again but i kept speed-walking to my street and when i did. turn around it was gone. baring in mind there aren't any turns after the initial one to my street. 

does anyone know what it could've been?? maybe it didn't want me to see it?
