Biopics, be it good, bad and the terrible, has always interested me,stemming from watching a couple of them throughout my life. If there was any historical figures past of present you would like to see a properly done biopic (no wikipedia biopics) on, either as a full length movie, made for tv mini series or bio series, what would they be and your dream cast on their portrayers. Please note that it could be historical figures who had biopics made on them that fell flat or are outdated. Also, the figures in question could be well known or obscure. Enjoy.

The historical figures I would like to see a biographical movie/mini series on are Debarge, Garrincha, Elza Soares, Cauby Peixoto, Luther Vandross, Phyllis Hyman, Fernando Bujones, Héctor Lavoe, Sondheim, Motown and Viola Desmond. I know both Debarge and Héctor Lavoe have a made for tv and full length movies respectively, but I feel they didn't do the subjects justice. I can't think of a dream actor to portray the people listed above, but what I do know is the actor must have their respective talents.
