I personally like to go for a 1890s gothic literature theme in my writing but are there other gothic themes/styles y'all like? I havent heard or read other types bbut I'm sure theres some.

Gothic litrature is litrature from the 1860s-1890s that has a grotesque theme or a dark theme. Examples of this are: The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Aoe, Dracula by Bram stocker, Frankenstine by Mary Shelly, Dr. Jackyll and Mr. Hyde, etc. It gives very dark and mysterious but also like a person going mentally insane type of vibe.
