they put out a powerhouse of an album in '78, promptly split up, and never got the global recognition they really deserved. the lyrics and song concepts are probably more potent today than they were in 78, and poly styrene's voice (and what a name as well omg) is sharp and bellowing, textbook punk. very infectious and energetic
