this happens to me a lot, even though I'm pretty functioning, sometimes i feel like hiding my diagnosis and masking, sometimes i can't cause i know there might be some triggers to my sensory issues so i need to make clear what are my special needs, and having to choose between "masking and f*cking up your health but getting the job" and "being honest but risking the opportunity" is something we, autistic ppl, shouldn't have to care for tbh
