absolutely agree !!

there's the obv choices of da vinci, michelangelo, raphael, etc. but i do really like pisanello's work even if it is early renaissance (he died before michelangelo was even born). 

i really like this sketch of cesare borgia that was made by ldv around 1502, it shows a less idealised and older cesare than i'm used to but i like it, shows the humanity and that he isn't just some figure that is never aging <3

then ofc there's the large religious paintings that came from the renaissance which i absolutely adore and fit more to what people think when we say renaissance artwork!!
