idk if these like count as spoilers but be wary if u havent read any of the watch books!!

 personally this quote from night watch keeps me up at night 'What had happened to the days when it was all so simple? Faded like the lilac, he thought.' it was like at the beginning of the book too and i didnt even know what the lilac meant but it still felt like a punch in the face and this quote i dont remember which book its from but i think its thud! ' "Yes,” he said. “And it seems like only yesterday.” Every day, he thought, it seems like only yesterday.' like damn pratchett. what the fuck!! calm down!!!!
