Writing Tips??

Okay so I plan to write a "book" (book as in I'll post it on ao3 LOL) and I want it to be set in the Victorian era. Any tips? I don't want to write it then look stupid for not being historically accurate. For context, it's gonna be about werewolves and vampires. Any tips at all would be highly appreciated! Doesn't even have to do with the topic at hand, I'll even take random writing tips. :)
