talk about old roblox! + 2007 - 2013 clients download link

i joined in 2011 but i dont have much memory of roblox back then tbh.. things felt a lot simpler there compared to now though. i still have a bunch of classic t-shirts i made in my inventory of a bunch of my emo/scene kid bands LOL

I joined roblox on 2020,yea pretty much kinda new,my favorite games are Super Bomb Survival,made by Polyhex,I kinda like the old items though,kinda good,I really wish that I can use tix

2. your favorite roblox game?
top roblox runaway was my SHIT back then but now its been hacked to death. i also loved kingdom life II and i still love natural disaster survival

3. favorite roblox event?
i think itd have to be heroes of robloxia funnily enough since i remember everything abt it. bloxgiving 2014 is the only other one i can remember bc it was the first time i played mad murder (i only played it for the pumpkin piephones which im glad i got ^_^)

3. what is the most thing you liked/disliked about (old) roblox?
too young to really remember anything that i liked or disliked abt the old roblox thats now gone other than tix. i guess i prefer the old games rather than the new popular ones, but i do like the avatar customisation we have now

4. something you wish to come back?
it happened a few years ago, but you have NO IDEA how mad i was when i logged in one day after years of not playing and realised they got rid of tix and i didnt get to transfer my tix into robux

Around 2014. I was a guest when I first started playing. The earliest account I remember making was from like 2016.

Shovelware's Brain Game, All of us are Dead, the claw machine games, the games where you can control chuck e cheese and other animatronics, and Booga Booga Reborn.

The egg hunts i guess idk

3. what is the most thing you liked/disliked about (old) roblox?

What I like about modern roblox:

- ugc

- more relaxed chat filter

What I don't like:

- The fact that they're trying to turn Roblox into a metaverse.

- Tix removal

- Rthro

- They removed all of the color from the main layout

- They call games experiences now

- They basically neglect all the community events (like RB Battles) in favor of sponsored events from companies like gucci and shit (remember, half of this game's user base is CHILDREN UNDER 13). I was fine with the kid's media tie-ins like free items to advertise new kids movies and stuff but I don't like the Walmart has a full on Roblox game now and they even let A FUCKING TAX COMPANY in one of these company games and these company games just rub me the wrong way. It's dystopian.

4. something you wish to come back?

- Tix or at least some form of free currency

- The way the old layout was colorful and unique

     Anyone Remember Alphaland? It was an old roblox emulator that was a closed community pertaining to around like 1000ish people. Here are some images from discord and my personal experience using it. Hoping to find other members that used to use Alphaland before it was shutdown, maybe even reunite with some friends who used it !

Also to answer the forum questions, I initially started a week after tix was removed in 2014. I played it mostly at the school computer labs due to my parents having a strict "no roblox" policy. My faovurite thing about back then was how colorful roblox was, the logo was red, had a cute font to it, the loader looked nice, and the robux symbol made SENSE. I miss the simplicity of roblox back then, the best game from the time would have to be that one game where you fought giants in random maps with an arsenal of weaponry.

my fav game rn is equalia falls mental institute but i also like flicker and the mimic. my favs in 2013 tho were super simon says, flood escape and top model

i LOVED the egg hunt

i hated how half of the time you joined a game, it would be hacked and it was so hard to find a regular server

tix comeback when

1. early 2010, but the oldest account i still have access to is from december 2010 :3

2. REx: Reincarnated!

3. all the old easter events, though especially 2010 and 2013...

4. i loved the simplicity of some games, like thrillville, and i also really loved the old low poly appearance of hats! coming back to it through novetus definitely took away the rose tinted glasses, though, because it feels way jankier to play (even though this isn't an exactly fair comparison here..)

5. i can't really say i wish for anything back, because as much as i'd love to wish for the platform to not feel so corporate, i'm not in control of that...
