Well shit, four days and no recs? Let me step up then
Now keep in mind I can only rec what I've read and I wish I've read more tbh, but so far I've got
1. My own thing 'cause I'm my own hypeman - Phototaxis of a Fighter. It's about an ungerground fighting ring and found family. Sort of like a shonen, but about girls and gays.
2. Holly and Macy and Everyone Else. A story about two teenage girls falling in love and also doing witchy magic! High school drama galore, also amazing Jewish representation btw.
3. Midnight Furies. Magic basketball with anime-level action craziness, very cool. Main characters are to die for.
4. Nocturne 21. A darker story about a doctor finding a boy bleeding out on the street and all but adopting him into his family. There are definitely some plot twists coming up. The first volume is literally called "Robot Boy".
5. Onti. A very stylish comic with all-black cast and set in a seaside town where people have element-based powers. Action scenes and character personalities are all awesome.
6. Hyper Morphosis. A VERY chaotic story in a sorta... post-apocalyptic but also with pirates but also kinda magical world?.. Look it's just cool. The cast is so colorful.
7. Trespasser. A hype adventure comic about a daredevil girl who can't sit still and goes scavenging on dangerous territories as her job. And her inventor friend who's perpetually terrified by that.
8. The Extras. Four very different girls in a magical school inbetween worlds.
9. IKON. A guy returns home after war and tries to survive and keep his family afloat by not-very-legal means. Set in 90s Russia.
10. SHE MAKES HUNGRY. An intricate romance between a hunter of the dead and an undead ghoul girl. Includes magic, science and eating people.
11. Tiger, Tiger. An adventure story about a noble girl who steals her brother's identity and his ship to sail on an adventure. Still haven't caught up with this one myself, but it seems amazing from what I've seen already.
12. Neo Automisia. An 18+ comic about a traumatised technomancer set in a cyberpunk world originally inspired by Shadowrun TTRPG.
I think that's a good enough rec list for now, ay? :D A lot of them are with a female-led/LGBTQ+ cast, 'cause that's my area of expertise, I'll admit that.
