surviving grave shifts (┬┬﹏┬┬)

what are everyone's best tips and tricks for night shifts? i started working some graves like 3ish weeks ago. i like to snack on light or healthy foods during the night.

hi i work nights permanently! i like to read (i always bring at least 2 books in case i get bored/need a change); eat small but energy-dense snacks (oat slice/bars, bananas, nuts); alternate between coffee & tea for drinks (plus lots of water); stretch every hour and go outside for air when possible. also in that home stretch just finding anything & everything possible that can be done (restocking/tidying/organising lol). idk if you have a job where this is even possible but i outright refuse to nap on my breaks & i think that's a key too.
