when did you get into mlp?

Defo back in 2020 due it being a rough time! So mostly started indulging in pone from then until now - excited to visit my first con later this year too :3

october 2022 when a friend introduced me to all the cool fanmade shit.. extremely regret not getting into it earlier 

Back in 2012, I was a little boy so I didn't like girly things. Me and my little brother would run out of the room when MLP came on. Well, one day, my stepmom had to leave for a few minutes and left me to watch my little sister. Sweet and Elite was on, and I watched it with her.

I liked it, so when I got back to my bio mother's house I started watching it on my own.

i was shown the show back in 2013 ish by my cousin, i found it really interesting but since i was a boy back then i felt like i wasnt supposed to watch it and so i didnt watch it until 10 years later in early to mid 2023.

makes me sad that i missed out on so much when i wanted to watch it but it is what it is i guess. i think i watched some equestria girls when i was younger tho, and for some reason didnt register that as a girls cartoon XD

I'm not sure when but I've had some pretty old toys! My grandma use to watch it with me when I was younger ^^

I got into g4 right when it came out basically, I was really young but remember it airing. Rainbow dash was my favorite character then and i was basically obsessed with her, then it changed to Twilight over the years

Watched it in 2014 and have been obsessed since!! I rewatched the entire show this year since I never finished it ^^

I can give you around the specific day. It was around April 29th, 2011 because that's when the season 1 episode "Party of One" aired. I had a friend who was talking about the show and doing watch parties. I was very confused and decided to hop into one to see what all the hype was about. Imagine my shock when THAT was my first episode. lmao.

I've been a fan of the show since then, going back and rewatching all the episodes and started watching them as they aired. Wild to think that was all the way back during high school.

I was a HUGE mlp (Gen 4) fan when I was younger I even had little wall stickers of the characters (they're still on my walls lol). I got back into it when I got older, like a lot of other people here! Gen 4 was still kind of a newer show when I got really into it!

The only gen i remeber ever watching is gen 4. ive been watching it since the very first episode aired oct 10, 2010 (i was 9). im 23 now and i still go back to rewatch it for the nostalgia

i watched the show since it came out but didn't join the fandom until 2016

honestly i don't remember ever NOT being into mlp! my mom used to watch the older gens when she was little so i was born with g3 toys and dvds being handed to me and growing up watching g4 on the hub. always attached my attention to rainbow dash no matter the generation up until this day lol

2016!!! I even liked mlp cupcakes au (I was 4 and insane)

i met the serie very years ago but i watched the serie on november 2024
