deftones isnt shoesgaze. ig shoegaze inspired but not shoegaze :') they count as alternative metal. either way i also enjoy them lololol.  I like korn, soad, coal chamber, godsmack, mudvayne, orgy, and sevendust too.

I listen to nu metal when I was first getting into metal music, but not anymore. My favorites were/are slipknot and korn's first 2 albums each. Favorite nu metal album is Life Is Peachy, korn's 2nd album, i actually love that record. 

Now i mainly listen to death metal and progressive metal
