Just my tips and tricks. If you have any tips just comment below!
- Buy water
- Buy emergen-c and other vitamins/and medicine that you might need. (Tums, Advil, Melatonin, liquidIV)
- Bring a portable charger. (If you don't have one, you can always rent a locker at EDC and they provide chargers in there.)
- Portable speaker. (I honestly regret not bringing mine the 1st time, the music through the phone didn't suffice.)
- Buy healthy snacks for when you get back from the event.
- People say that alcohol is expensive on the strip and to buy it before you're on the strip. Personally, if you're balling on a budget, get it off strip.
- Get plenty of rest! Most of us are getting old, and our bodies don't work like they used too
- Something to keep in your hydration backpack/fanny pack: Mini hand sanitizer, baby wipes, un unopen Chapstick, unopen gum, tampons/pads
- Nasal stick: There is a brand on Amazon called Poy-Sian. It is a Thai brand and there are two ends of the stick that you can inhale from and the other end is a substance that you can rub on your body. (Great for BO)
- Always bring cash just in case.
- There are 9 stages. Make sure you get the times lined up and have a plan of what stage you're going to next. That being said, there are a lot of things to do at the festival. Try to see everything they have to offer! Go early enough so all you do later in the night is stage hop.
- If you're in a group make sure that you guys have a meetup just in case people in the group wander off or get lost.
- Medical is there to help! You won't get into any trouble, if you need help or know someone that does, locate a MED tent.
- Wear comfortable shoes! Trust me, your feet and back will thank you later.
- Earplugs! I prefer Loop on Amazon. Always protect your hearing!
- Sunglasses.
- If you're texting at the festival, there is spotty signal. Make sure you leave a timestamp of when you send the message
- Hand fans or electrical fans.
- Don't forget to eat and drink plenty of water during the festival.
- If you're driving make sure you have a sober driver. Make sure you pack water/snacks
- Make sure you leave early on the 1st day(4pm-4:30), you wanna soak up the festival early on because it get nasty as the each day passes, also you don't want to miss the opening ceremony.
- Make sure you lock up your valuables, there are a lot of shit people who will try to steal from you. There are people there each year who work together in a chain to steal from you. Be aware.
- I had my fair share of Asian trains. It sucks, but if you are in a crowd and need to get out, follow them, because you will get out. Make sure to say excuse me when going through crowds, yes it's a lot of people but please be courteous.
- If you're driving, don't forget to pin the location of you car! Makes life much easier!
- Trade Kandi! It's crazy how many friends you can make :)
Can't wait to see you guys under the electric sky this year!
