project diva/sekai - hopes n thoughts?

Forum: Games

so I'm an enthusiastic player of both project diva and project sekai, and was wondering what everyone else's hopes were for said games! like, any songs you want added, any platforms you want new similar games on (or if you're like me and just want project diva f2nd back somewhere you can actually play it), any features or story focuses you wish they'd implement, or even anything you wish they Hadn't added?

personally, I know it's probably not possible because of translation stuff, but I kind of wish that the project sekai english server kept going with the slightly shortened event times so that it could actually catch up with the jpn events, rather than just deciding to hold the whole thing Exactly a year behind. I also wish they could implement the newer features from the jpn version into the english one a bit faster rather than sticking to the Exact same update schedule, like - you've already figured it out for one version, why do we have to wait months for some quality of life improvements everyone else already has!!

anyway, I'd like to see what other people think, if there are many others checking these boards out at all :)

I have never played Project Sekai, so I'll only talk about Project Diva. I'm biased, but I would love to have more Kaito songs in the game. Some Kaito songs I think would be nice include Rainy Snowdrop by Re:nG, Kuusou Holiday by GoBS, 1/4 by VocaCircus, Doctor Funk Beat by nyanyannya, Crescent Moon by WhiteFlame, Attakaito by halyosy, Tsuki Yuki Hana by Ebot, Pray by WKDON and Old Radio by urara-p. Some of these songs have a better chance than others, but one can dream.

Another thing I wanted was Project Diva X songs and modules to get put in Project Diva Future Tone. It's been so long though so that probably won't happen. Also, I say Future Tone instead of Mega Mix because I haven't played Mega Mix. I don't have a Nintendo Switch or a computer powerful enough for it. Plus it doesn't have as many songs as Future Tone so there would be no need for me to get Mega Mix. Well, except for mods. That is the one thing I'm missing out on.

Also, I agree with you about Project Diva F 2nd being great. There are qualities of that game that I miss. I'm glad it was my first Project Diva game. Diva room and edit mode are great. It also feels much comfier. The vocaloid chilling on the main menu, the fan art as the loading screens, and the way the vocaloid will talk to you on the results screen. The vibes were good.

I play both project diva and projects Sekai and absolutly love both of them.

I wish there were more cover options in project Sekai! For example the Sekai version of Beat Eater includes Len singing with everyone yet we only have a Miku cover.

I also want custom songs back for future tone and mega mix without having to mod your game too much. I accidentally broke mega mix for the pc and couldn’t open it for a while because I trying to add songs and mods onto it.

i'm not a very big project diva player so i'll just talk about project sekai!

personally, i'm a 25ji fan (i play on jpsekai so if you're not into the jp events you might not understand what i'm talking about) and the events lately have been kinda boring, in a way of we got a mizuki and kanade focus, but sadly it has been focused on mafuyu's development because of mafuyu's mother and all, which i think is kinda sad. i thought we would get some mizuki infos, especially about their secret, and kanade, i thought it would possibly be about her dad and all, so yeah, reading the story event have been a little waste of time lately, it's kinda sad ngl.

why cant mafuyu just confront her mom?!? i'm assuming we will get an ena focus next time that will be about mafuyu all over again, and then finally the mafuyu focus where she will maybe confront her mom, but seriously, when will be THE kanade focus i neeeeed.

anyways, have you seen the leaks ? there might be abnormality girl and god-ish added to the game soon! who do you will think it will be?

i kinda wish abnormality dancing girl to be covered by kanade, but it will never happen since the song have nothing to do with kanade, but out of that i hope it will be an ena cover!! i'm tired of mafuyu getting all the angst cover (can you tell she's my least fav 25ji character,??) and ena fits abnormality dancing girl sm!!

and for god-ish, it better be a mizuki cover! why? because her voice fits sm! i listened to the ado cover of god-ish, and ngl, if the cover is in the same vibe as ado's cover, i would die for it to be covered by mizuki! also, for the god-ish chart, i hope it will have the speed change (like in yaminabe, jinsei and setsuna trip) at a VERY specific moment. if you don't know the song, at 1:50 (in this video: https://youtu.be/7i_nc5GGIsI) i hope they will put the speed lower, idk if you get it, like AAA i can explain how i feel it but i just want it to have a lower speed between 1:50 and 2:08 !!

anyways that's kinda all lol :3

theres the wandashow live tomorrow that will announce the songs for the month so well see!! :P

I play and love both! I like that you can play together with pj sekai but I prefer project diva because of its way of the clear percentage and standard/great/excellent/perfect and also overall gameplay.

I think that Project Diva needs some consistency in the games. I know the mechanics are the same, but the character customisation, songs, and even graphics just gotta be consistent.

In the Nintendo Switch version of Diva, the quality is worse and yet it has some better character customisation options. There are some amazing songs on it, too, like Alien Alien and Jitterbug, but the rest of the songs that are in the PS5/PS4 version are only available from a DLC, which added onto the original game's price (Around 24/25 GBP), is way too expensive in my opinion.

The Playstation Version of Project Diva has better quality, but not as many good character customisation options and songs. Sure it has amazing songs like Leia and Roshin Yukai (Meltdown), the rest of the songs from the Nintendo version I like are only available, again, from DLC, which still costs too much for those who just want some Vocaloid content.

For Sekai, I love the game's mechanics, but I think that crystals should be slightly easier to earn, and more covers for songs should be added, and original versions for the songs such as Usseewa should be added in, too.
