For class, we were discussing Dorian Gray and I had completely forgotten how obscene the book was!! We discussed its meaning for dandyism and how for Wilde aestheticism as one of the most important things in the world.

And then for french, I know weird, we are reading the stranger by Camus! This one threw me for a fkn loop at how insane it was. The elements of absurdism and existentialism evident throughout the entirety.

I'd love to talk to people about classics <3

I'd love to talk about Dorian Gray and aestheticism!!! I'm studying it at uni right now for an independent study module so totally By Choice and I'm having the best time! I'm writing my own creative piece using similar styles, studying the book, Victorian values, aesthetisicm, and I even did a single scene stage adaption!
