I've been listening to coloUrs and mayhem a lot recently because it's a great album and there's so many different styles on there and a lot of the songs are really awesome. So I'm just going to ramble about that album + some other homestuck music (mostly off of Alterniabound because of Toby Fox)
First of all my favourite track off of coloUrs and mayhem is probably Fuchsia Ruler because that song is funky and very catchy and it's the song I usually show people I'm trying to get into Homestuck music.
Close second favorites are Orange Hat (I love this one not only because I like Dirk as a character but also because it sounds awesome like it's the perfect mix of energy and chill and I love that bit in the outro were the song kind of glitches a bit) Blue Atom (again I am not just saying this because Jade is awesome I am also saying this because the song makes me happy. It's got this bouncy kind of vibe to it at the beginning and it gets a bit more chill towards the middle and this is the perfect song for Jade and also it's just a great song) Olive Rogue (it's just a very neat song) and Gold Mage (this one is one of my favourites to have on in the background while I draw stuff)
Other songs I love that I want to mention: Battle Brotocol. This song is very fun, I love the little distorted voice clips and how high energy it is. I love the opening for Jade Mother with that atmospheric storm sound and the rest of the song feels big and meaningful and it gives me goosebumps. Olive Scribe is similarly very atmospheric. Bronze Page is awesome. It genuinely sounds like intro to a cool kids show. Iron Knight goes so damn hard and it's great. The way Emerald Terror morphs from the intro bit to the rest of the song is really neat. Pink Cat's intro gives me a bit of a headache because of how high pitched it is but the rest of the song makes it absolutely worth it. Cyan Beast is a bop and I love the little woosh sound in the beginning of the song. I've had Coolkid stuck in my head multiple times within the last week. Ohgodcat is a bop. WV: Become the Mayor of Cans is also great. Bec Noir is a great song and I like the dog barks in this one. I love Clockstopper. This one is the other song I usually show people I'm trying to get into Homestuck music.
Moving on to Alterniabound: My favourite song in this album is Arisen Anew. Not just because of the Doctor Who quote but also just because it's a vibe. Darling Kanaya is neat to have on in the background because of how chill it is. Vriska's and Eridan's respective themes are really good for some reason. And of course all of the Toby Fox songs are awesome. MY favourite out of those is The La2t Frontiier. My second favourite is Spider's Claw.
Also this one is off of a completely different album but Derse Dreamers by Solatrus is one of my favourite Homestuck related songs ever and is another one I usually show to people I'm trying to get to check out Homestuck music.
