In 2004, a girl named Maura Murray disappeared on highway 112. Before her disappearance in a car crash, a series of strange events occured. For example, she admitted to using a stolen credit card to buy food on campus for several days, or when she was working her on-campus job, she broke down and became completely unresponsive. That was only 5 days before she disappeared.

On February 9 2004, Murray used her personal computer to search MapQuest for directions to the Berkshires and Burlington, Vermont. The first reported contact Murray had with anyone on February 9 was at 1:00 pm, when she emailed her boyfriend: "I love you more stud. I got your messages, but honestly, i didn't feel like talking too much of anyone, i promise to call today though. love you, Maura". In the afternoon, she emailed her nursing school about a death in her family, however her family claimed that the family did not experience a death at that time.

On Route 112, in Woodville, New Hampshire, a woman heard a loud crash outside her home. The accident occured around 7pm.

There were several MySpace forums and groups dedicated to helping in her search.

Maura Murray's father, suspecting that her disappearance was not her own doing, called whoever did it a Dirtbag. On the 7th anniversary of her disappearance, a YouTube video appeared on a channel called "112 Dirtbag". The video showed a middle aged male staring into the camera with a serious expression, then begining to laugh (and winking afterwards). "Happy anniversary" is what the text in the video said.

Police was quickly involved, suspecting that this might be the man standing behind the crime. His full name turned out to be Jeffrey Alden Olson, located in Massachusetts. Despite the video, police could never actually find evidence and tie him to the crime.

To this day it is wondered if Jeffrey Alden Olson was just a troll, or the actual reason behind Maura Murray's disappearance....
