so i know absolutely nothing about technology, it’s almost funny. since august, my computer has been acting weird and i can’t seem to find any resources that are able to solve the problem. (or maybe i just don’t understand any of it, haha) near the end of august, it seemed like my computer had been reset after an update, but i was still logged into my microsoft account. i couldn’t open most apps, and the ones that i could open, like photos, were empty. however, after some searching in files, i found 3 folders. the first said TEMP and contained folders (titled photos, games, etc) that were completely empty. the second was titled my microsoft account name and had all of my old things! i think i’m on TEMP, but i’m not sure how that happened. is there a way to get those files and photos out of there and make them accessible from the actual apps? if that even makes sense??
i have no clue what i’m doing. any help would be really appreciated :,)
