I don't know, I just find the unconventional song structure, experimentation, and complexity of progressive rock/metal to be very pleasing to the ears. 


Any prog enjoyers, and if so, what's your favorite prog albums?

Love prog. Used to be my main genre in my senior year & early days of college. Judging by your taste, you might like Novembre's blue album. It still holds a place in my heart & is an underrated prog masterpiece imo
