I'm specifically trying to put a spinnig mcr cd there, and i already have the gif for it.

The only way to get something next to your pfp is to make it your online status symbol I believe!
The code for that looks something like this:

.online{
content: url("insert image address")
}
If it ends up under your pfp, it's too big and needs to be resized - you can use this site for it, just be sure to save the resized gif and link it from Imgur.
