hello vista! are you personally hosting this or are you using a public instance? have you tried using the flash player? what browser are you using?
yt2009 is tested to work on Windows versions as low as 98, so it's not an XP issue

add "/toggle_f.htm" to the end of whatever link you're using (eg: https://yt2009.aesthetiful.com/toggle_f.htm) (dont use aesthetiful for this though since the flash players havent been patched for this instance)
for flash enabled browsers i personally use pale moon, however there are some issues with the flash player specifically on pale moon (that can be fixed by clearing the yt2009 related cookies)
older versions of chrome and firefox should also work

change the links from https://yt2009.aesthetiful.com/ or yt2009.aesthetiful.com to https://yt2009.giabs.ovh/ or yt2009.giabs.ovh in the userstyle

hello! this will never be a revival. if you want to upload your videos you are free to upload them to youtube, they'll show up on the frontend as well

Hi! I've seen a few comments about people using virtual machines to host their YT2009. If someone knows about how to do this, could they DM me? thanks!

one of the public instances is down, but yt2009 still works.
if giabs is ever down, try using the aesthetiful instance
ok and yt2009 is a great recreation of late youtube 2009 (I know this is a frontend)

Hey, do you think I could use the 2010 theme on something like windows xp? Thanks!

if your browser has an extension like stylus then yes, you can use the 2010 theme!

If you don't mind, just one more question and then I'm out. Do you know if I can use the 2010 theme on the local version of the frontend? Thanks again, and sorry!

you would have to change the URL on the userstyle, otherwise it should work! thank you for asking

Are we going to put early 2005 - late 2005, 2008-2010 4:3 player and 2008 embed for toggle_f on this site for giabs?

i dont host giabs, so that's not up to me. there is no patched version of these players built into yt2009, however the host can patch players and add them to their instance if that's what they want to do

click install on userstyles.world, ctrl+a and ctrl+c, then go to stylem and press the blank new style button and ctrl+v, then save. there may be some issues but this usually works for me

I opened an issue in github as a suggestion for improving the accessibility of YT2009.
while yt2009 is great for some reason the websites sometimes load for a long time and when I try to watch a video it may load or not. weirdly this all happened after yt2009 crashed before I had no problems with yt2009 but I don't know why this is happening can you give me something that will help that would be great.

yt2009 downloads everything from youtube instead of streaming so features like flash player and annotations can work, this causes videos to load slow sometimes. the issue can also be related to your internet speed or the internet speed of the host. thank you for the question!

I think the name of url 139.162.189.11:81 is wierd but we need to change to yt2009.giabs.ovh
and the error of the stream destroyed pisses me off
we need to get faster
the video loads very slowly
