Mine was Bubbles! Of course, I liked all three of them, but Bubbles had a special place in my heart. Growing up, I had (and they're still alive, so HAVE) two younger siblings. One was afab (like me) and one was amab. So, my afab sibling (they/he) was always assigned Blossom (because of their red hair) and my little brother (he/him) was assigned Mojojojo.
My Blossom sibling and I got to share Buttercup. And when I say "assigned" and "share" I really mean that my parents would associate certain characters with us. Plus, we had to have characters we would be when we played pretend. I was assigned Bubbles because of my blue eyes.
I remember I was so excited as a child when I found out about the Powerpuff Girls Z anime! However, I couldn't find it subtitled ANYWHERE....not even on youtube.
The only thing that existed was the OP and some random AMVs/gifs....now, I'll probably blame it on my inability to search the internet all too well as a child, because OBVIOUSLY, people could watch it.
If it wasn't on youtube in 3 parts or ripped onto Newgrounds, I basically didn't watch it. But I watched enough AMVs and MADs and played around enough on Newgrounds to get the idea behind a lot of series I never watched--but loved--as a child.
Nowadays, I'm not sure who my favorite PPG is...I'm starting to think it's Blossom. Which is funny, because I DETESTED her as a child.
I'd always felt like she was a little too bossy, or uptight as a kid. But ironically, I see myself MUCH more in her than I do Bubbles or Buttercup. Growing up is realizing Blossom is the best Powerpuff Girl.....right?
