good way to clean vinyl?

i have a cleaning cloth that came with my glasses when i got them, and i've found that those sorts of cleaning cloths work quite well when it comes to cleaning records and cds and stuff of that sort. you can either just use it to brush off the excess dust and dirts, or can dampen it slightly to really clean it off, and get other build up off the record. if you don't have one of these, any other small cleaning cloth should work fine.
