maybe it just me but a lot of games in recent times are sooo overhyped and end up being kinda :/ ya know?
for me a game that was largely overhyped was Stray, i didn't like it.

singleplayer mode is either boring or feels like you're being watched and multiplayer is filled with microtransactions and tryhards
survival mode is fun for the first day or so, but after that it gets incredibly lonely or feels like there's something watching you
creative mode can be fun because you can make anything, but you have to download mods to get any furniture that isn't beds or a crafting table and it gets very boring very fast
modded survival can be fun, but if your game requires mods to be fun then it isn't a very good game
not to mention the controversy with the newer updates, the entire Minecraft community is filled with negativity and drama
