I'd like to say gravity falls or the owl house. those two are some of my favourites. But generation loss and dead end paranormal park also are some of the best I've watched

Oh, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. Genuinely an amazing piece of art that's still relevant today. A masterclass in symbolism.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
It's a spin-off of the original Star Trek (made in the sixties) and is from the eighties or nineties. It is set on a space station as opposed to other Star Trek shows which are usually set in ships, and it has a continuous storyline as well as a certain episodicness. It is fun and enjoyable but is still able to discuss serious topics and is the best series I have ever watched.

gotta be honest i think seinfeld changed the game, in terms of modern television i think mike flanagan (the haunting of hill house, midnight mass) is on an insane level. also would be nutty to not mention the sopranos

Hannibal (NBC/Peacock) it is truly amazing, its a play on the characters/story of Hannibal Lector from the movie/book series by Thomas Harris that includes Silence of the Lambs. it is very symbolic with love through cannibalism, and the main relationship in it is very twisted and complicated and is not healthy but still isnt completely bad. it reps a lesbian and gay relationship. its not only symbolic w the love//cannibalism but its extremely symbolic with every single detail referencing the movies, and just so many philosophical things; especially with morals/religion.

The Orville was so well done. By far the greatest show I ever watched; I really didn't think Seth MacFarlane could write something so intelligent tbh.
Bojack Horseman comes in second because WOW! Don't get me wrong, the first half of season 1 was boring, but it got SOOOO GOOD!
Doctor Who is last. I really loved Peter Capaldi as 12! I have to play catch up with the rest of the 13th Doctor's era, though.
Honorable mentions:
Sherlock (BBC). Last season felt lazy. Plus, most of the fandom ruined it for me tbh. Like, I shipped Johnlock, too. But, damn!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I loved this show a lot. But rewatching it now as a full grown adult, I noticed a lot of problematic stuff that my younger mind missed. Last season kind of infuriated me, too.
Charmed. Same with my explanation for Buffy.
Stranger Things. While a pretty good series, I disliked how they never further addressed Eleven finding her "sibling." Plus they always kill off the new fan favorite of the season. Like, STOP THAT!
